Estate Planning Specialist, Kristin Shirahama, joins Bowditch & Dewey
Bowditch & Dewey has recruited Kristin Wildman Shirahama into the Framingham and Boston offices as a partner in the Estate and Tax Planning Practice.
Ms. Shirahama focuses on estate planning and elder and disability law. Her role involves advising clients on minimizing federal and state estate taxes and the preparation of estate plans for clients with family members with disabilities or other special needs. She also advises trustees, guardians or other fiduciaries on benefits and trust administration matters.
Ms. Shirahama currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Women’s Bar Association of Massachusetts. She is co-chair of the Legislative Policy Committee of the Women’s Bar Association of Massachusetts and a member of the Public Policy Committee of the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys.
“Kristin is a terrific addition to Bowditch & Dewey, and we welcome her to the firm,” said Managing Partner James D. Hanrahan. “As an estate planning and elder law attorney with extensive experience who time and again has demonstrated total commitment to her clients, Kristin will bolster our already top-notch Elder Law and Estate Planning practices.”
Before joining Bowditch, Ms. Shirahama worked at Rosenberg, Freedman & Lee from 2004 to 2015.
