Manuel Tron joins SMPS in Mexico City as Tax Partner
SMPS Legal has announced that Manuel E. Tron has joined the firm as tax partner and Ramon Bravo as partner in the corporate M&A, banking and finance and aviation practice. Both appointments started on October 1st, 2015.
These represent significant additions for the Firm, having opened its Dallas office a year ago and appointed two new tax partners in March 2015, Ana Paula Pardo Lelo de Larrea and Christian Solis.

For over thirty years, Mr Tron has provided legal consulting and planning services to international businesses from a tax perspective, as well as personal and family counseling related to wealth and estate planning both in Mexico and abroad. His practice primarily involves designing structures of cross-border investment both from abroad to Mexico, and from Mexico internationally. Manuel is regularly involved in designing strategies for negotiation and resolution of tax disputes both in Mexico and abroad and assisting in tax litigation matters on a federal level.
After leaving E & Y in August 2014 and before joining SMPS Legal in October 2015, Manuel practised independently as Manuel Tron, S.C.
