Estate Planner, Timothy Dunn, gets partnership at BGD
Bingham Greenebaum Doll has announced that attorney Timothy W. Dunn has been elected to the Partnership within the firm. Tim rejoined the firm’s Lexington office as a member of the Estate Planning practice group earlier this year.
Tim has a multidisciplinary practice that concentrates on the general areas of estate planning, small business planning, asset protection planning and estate and trust administration. He regularly assists clients with the preparation of traditional estate planning documents, but a significant portion of his practice is also focused on the formation, restructure and transfer of closely-held businesses. In addition to his estate planning practice, Tim also represents fiduciaries in all aspects of estate and trust administration.
“Tim’s substantial experience in estate and small business planning, trust administration and asset protection, in addition to general corporate law, make him an important addition to our team,” said John R. Cummins, chair of BGD’s Estate Planning practice group. “We are thrilled to not only welcome him back to the firm, but also to the Partnership.”
Earlier in his career, Tim practised as an estate planning attorney in the firm’s Lexington office. He was a member of the trusts and estates group at another large law firm in Lexington for the past three years before returning to BGD in August.
Tim received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Kentucky College of Law. He currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors and VP of Finance for the Lexington Philharmonic Society. He also serves as a board member and Past President of the Lexington Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals.
