Taylor Wessing appoints Emma Jordan as new Head of Contentious Trusts in London
Taylor Wessing has announced the addition of a new lateral partner hire to its Private Client practice.
Emma Jordan joins the firm as Head of Contentious Trusts from Wragge Lawrence Graham & Co, where she was a contentious trusts and litigation partner.
She specialises in all aspects of contentious trusts work, with a particular focus on advising and representing trustees and high net worth individuals on a range of trust issues in litigation. Emma also advises on civil fraud work, asset tracing and recovery within the context of offshore trusts and structures and helps clients with alternative dispute resolution strategies, including mediation. Emma is an English Barrister and a Jersey Advocate and can represent clients in the Jersey Courts.
Emma Jordan says:
“Taylor Wessing stands out in the private client sector in that it is one of only a few firms that benefits from a team comprising some of the industry’s leading advisers, whilst also having strength in depth across an extensive international network.
The firm is well known for its private client advisory work and I very much look forward to bringing my experience and expertise to bolster the contentious aspects of the practice.”
Andrew Hine, head of the Private Client team at Taylor Wessing added:
“Emma is well known by the industry for her first class contentious trust work and this is reflected in her taking on lead roles on some very significant cases over the last few years. She is a great addition to the team and her skill set will add a new dimension to our contentious capability.”
