Yung Ling promoted to tax partner at Burr Pilger Mayer
Burr Pilger Mayer has announced the promotion of Yung Ling to tax partner.
Yung Ling is a member of the Firm’s Corporate Tax Practice Group with a focus on the technology and life sciences industries. He is based in the San Jose office.
He has over 15 years of experience serving clients on international and corporate tax issues including global tax compliance, complex tax provision calculation and FIN 48 issues. He has also assisted numerous clients with their S-1 filings. His passion for the public accounting profession and his excellence at providing client service in the area of corporate tax services has led to the successful expansion of BPM’s Tax Practice for pre-IPO and public companies, US subsidiaries of foreign public companies and multinational corporations. He is an active member of CalCPA and AICPA.
Mr Ling started his tax career with KPMG in Singapore, moving to GE Capital in 2007 as Asia Pacific Tax Manager. He relocated to California in 2008.
The promotion is effective January 1, 2016.
