Greg George has joined Grant Thornton as an International Tax Partner in Seattle
Greg George has joined Grant Thornton LLP as an International Tax partner, based in the firm’s Seattle office. George is an international tax executive with more than 20 years of experience serving a large and diverse client base. He specializes in international structuring, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, intangible property management, private equity, global tax planning, and financial reporting for income taxes. George also has extensive experience advising software, electronics and cloud computing businesses regarding tax issues associated with web-based services and subscription-based business models. Most recently, he served as a partner and major market leader for KPMG LLP’s Pacific Northwest International Tax practice.
George received a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting from Washington State University. George is licensed with the Washington State Board of Accountancy and is an active member of the WSCPA as well as the AICPA.
