Richard Bunker resigns from Whyatt Pakeman Partners to join Corrigan Associates
Bristol based firm, Corrigan Associates, has recruited Richard Bunker as its first tax partner.
Managing Partner, Edward Corrigan, said: “Richard is one of Bristol’s best-known accountants, advising business owners and private clients and he joins us with an extensive client portfolio. The Bristol accountancy market has seen a great deal of consolidation, but people like smaller independent practices like ours.”
“Our fee income increased by more than 20 per cent last year and Richard’s appointment helps us build a team to compete for work at the highest level. We are growing organically, reflecting increasing demand for independent, high quality service.”
Richard Bunker is a very well regarding tax practitioner, having been a tax partner with Smith & Williamson in Bristol and latterly a partner with Whyatt Pakemen Partners.
Corrigan Associates was formed in 2009 by Edward Corrigan, specialising in advising independent businesses. Mr Corrigan is ex Kidsons Impey/Baker Tilly.
The firms’ clients include high-tech companies, professional service businesses, overseas subsidiaries as well as a number of successful entrepreneurs.
