UHY Hacker Young promotes tax specialist Elliott Buss to partnership
UHY Hacker Young has announced the appointment of a new partner to help sustain growth and improve services to clients.
Following a rise of 25% in income during 2014-15, the firm, which has offices in Newport, Abergavenny and Bristol, has promoted senior tax manager, Elliott Buss (pictured left) to the role of client partner. Elliott, who has 13 years’ experience as a tax advisor, joined UHY Hacker Young in 2012.
Managing partner, Paul Byett, said: “With such strong growth comes the need to strengthen our leadership team. Elliott has been at the forefront of our development as a business so we are confident, with his involvement a top level, that we can continue in the same vein.”
He added “Elliott will continue to develop a young and exciting tax team, while, at the same time, continuing to expand our core services of audit accounts and corporate finance.”
Elliott, whose experience covers all areas of tax, will focus on advice and planning for UHY’s clients along with his partner responsibilities.
He said “I am absolutely delighted to become partner at such a prestigious firm, with an excellent reputation. I hope to continue to help with the growth of the practice and repay the faith the other partners have shown in me.”
