Michael Whitacre resigns from BDO USA to join Frazier & Deeter

Michael Whitacre joined Frazier & Deeter in January as a Tax Partner.  Whitacre has more than 30 years of experience in auditing and taxation in public accounting.

Whitacre spent the majority of his career in public accounting at BDO, where he served in a variety of regional and national leadership roles:

Atlanta Tax Office Managing Partner 2003 – 2014
Southeast Tax Regional Managing Partner 2003 – 2011
BDO International Regional Head of Tax, North America 2010 – 2015

His areas of focus include federal and state corporate tax issues including cross border planning and transaction support.

Whitacre earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting at Indiana University – Kelley School of Business.
