Bo Iversen joins Uber’s global tax team with tax policy remit
Uber has recruited Bo Iversen into its global tax group.
Mr Iversen was formerly with UCB, where he has worked for the past 5 years. He joined UCB as VP Tax in 2010 but since 2014 he had additional responsibilities for both Treasury and Risk Management.
In his earlier career he held senior international tax roles at JT International, Stryker and Ideal Standard International.
Mr Iversen is based in Brussels but his new role has a global remit, focusing on tax policy and tax legislation. He will work closely with Tony Maggiore, Uber’s Global Head of Tax, who joined the company 12 months ago.
The pair have worked together before (from 1998 to 2000), when Mr Iversen was Senior Tax Manager at Japan Tobacco International SA and Mr Maggiore was VP Tax.
