Hazel Cruickshanks is the new Head of Tax at IG Group

Financial spread betting firm, IG Group, has recruited Hazel Cruickshanks as Head of Tax. She started in her new role in May 2016.

Hazel will be responsible for IG’s tax affairs globally and will report into the Head of Finance, David Horsley, who joined in August 2015. They both trained at PwC.

Ms Cruickshanks has a very strong commercial tax background, having moved into industry in 1999, as soon as she qualified with PwC. Her initial experience was with Diageo, BP and Wood Group, before joining Maersk Line in 2014. Her most recent role at Maersk was Head of Business and Technical Tax.
