Transfer Pricing Specialist, Hiro Furuya, joins EY’s National Tax Department
Hiro Furuya has joined the National Tax Department of Ernst & Young LLP with a brief to focus on Japanese Business Services and automotive sector.
Hiro is a seasoned transfer pricing professional with experience in complex advance pricing agreement, competent authority and transfer pricing audit cases with the IRS, National Tax Agency of Japan and other tax authorities. He joins from McDermott Will & Emery where he was a managing director focused on transfer pricing since 2012. He had also been with Gardere Wynne Sewell where he lead transfer pricing practice for Japanese and automotive clients. Earlier, he was a founding member of PwC Tokyo’s transfer pricing group where he spent nine years developing its practice.
Furuya joins as a partner based in the Dallas office.
