Mazars recruits Eline Polak as indirect tax partner in Amsterdam
Eline Polak has joined Mazars in Amsterdam as a tax partner .
Following a 10 year career in the judiciary she will now focus on further strengthening the Mazars VAT and customs practice.
Eline started her career in 1993 with KPMG, working as a VAT and customs specialist. From 1996 to 2005 she worked as a tax lawyer for, amongst others, Baker & McKenzie, where she advised on matters of national and international VAT and customs.
In 2005 Eline was appointed a judge of the Tax and Customs Division of the Haarlem District Court. Mid 2010 she moved to the Arnhem-Leeuwarden Court of Appeal. Since January 2015 she was appointed a Justice of the Amsterdam Court of Appeal, handling VAT and customs cases.
She will remain with the Arnhem-Leeuwarden Court of Appeal as a Deputy Justice.
