 In PKF Littlejohn

PKF Littlejohn has appointed Catherine Heyes as a Partner with effect from 1st August 2016. Her promotion brings the total number of tax partners and directors in the growing firm to 8 and the total number of partners in the firm to 36.

Catherine joined PKF Littlejohn as a Senior Tax Manager in April 2014. She works with colleagues across the firm to provide clients with holistic advice and solutions in order to resolve problems and present opportunities relevant to their particular circumstances. Her advisory expertise includes employee share schemes, exit strategies, restructuring and R&D claims, both in a UK and international context.

Catherine works with clients in a variety of sectors including insurance broking, technology and hospitality, and range from family owned SME’s to large international groups.

Commenting on the promotion, Chris Riley, head of tax at PKF Littlejohn, said “Businesses face a time of much change and increasing scrutiny. Multinational businesses with entities in the UK and EU will inevitably face new challenges and uncertainties, but also potential opportunities in relation to taxation and cross border transactions in the coming years as the effects of Brexit and ongoing changes to international tax protocols (BEPS) become better understood and made law.”

“Since she joined the firm, Catherine has consistently demonstrated a depth of expertise to assist clients with these and wider issues, both in respect of taxation matters, but also the wider commercial consequences. We will continue to invest in talent like hers to help our clients manage risk and develop opportunities.”

Carmine Papa, PKF Littlejohn’s Managing Partner, said “This is an exciting time for the firm as we continue to grow and Catherine’s promotion positions us well to continue to respond to our clients’ needs.”
