Edwin Coe has announced that Alison Broadberry has joined Edwin Coe as Partner and Head of Private Client.

Alison brings with her a wealth of experience gained both in industry and in private practice.

Having initially qualified as a barrister of Lincoln’s Inn, Alison went into the financial services industry and rose to become an Associate Director of Schroders.  She then moved on to St. James’s Place Wealth Management Plc where she was Divisional Director, Head of Tax and Trusts.

Subsequently, she moved across to private practice and re-qualified as a solicitor rising rapidly to become Head of Private Client at Speechly Bircham before they merged with Charles Russell in November 2014.

Along with Alison, Michael Reynolds (Trust and Probate Manager) and Joanne Hills (Personal Assistant and Administrator) are also joining the firm.

Alison takes over as Head of Private Client from Nick Giles, who will have more time to look after clients whilst also continuing his role as the firm’s Managing Partner.

Alison commented: “I am delighted to be joining Edwin Coe; they have a strong reputation in the marketplace and I am excited at the prospect of being able to help the practice grow and develop.”

Nick Giles also said: “I very happy to welcome Alison and her team to the firm. Alison’s background fits perfectly with the Edwin Coe ethos and I know she will make an outstanding Head of Private Client.”
