Paul Harris joins RSM in Bury St Edmunds as lead private client tax partner.

RSM in Bury St Edmunds has strengthened its East Anglian team with the appointment of two new partners.

Laragh Jeanroy joins the firm’s audit practice while Paul Harris becomes lead partner in the private client tax team.

Laragh, who has worked in the profession for 20 years, is currently Deputy President of the East Anglian Society of Chartered Accountants. Prior to joining RSM, she was head of audit at PEM in Cambridge where she was responsible for the audit and related advisory services to a portfolio of corporate and not for profit entities. Laragh was previously a partner in Grant Thornton and Robson Rhodes in Cambridge. Her experience ranges from small start-ups to multi-national groups and she has a particular specialism in the charities, technology and education sectors.

Paul Harris, who most recently worked at Grant Thornton in Norwich, is a qualified chartered accountant and chartered tax adviser, who has specialised in private client taxation for over 30 years. Previously, Paul was a private client tax partner with Smith & Williamson in Salisbury. His expertise lies in advising on wealth preservation and capital tax planning and his clients tend to be high net worth individuals including farmers and owners of landed estates as well as non-domiciliaries and their families.
