A&O makes up just 1 new tax partner, Ka Sen Wong in the Sydney office
Allen & Overy has announced the promotion of 24 lawyers to partner across its global network, the largest number since 2008. Effective as of 1 May 2017, the promotions are across 11 offices in 10 countries covering six practice groups in the business.
Only one new tax partner has been promoted: Ka Sen Wong, who is based in Sydney.
Ka Sen provides expert income tax advice across a range of industries, including funds, property, infrastructure, private and public M&A, financial services, banking, and capital markets.
Legal Media Group has nominated Ka Sen as a Rising Star in his field, as published in the LMG Rising Stars 2016.
Managing partner Andrew Ballheimer comments: “We’ve had a very busy year and are investing strongly across our network. Following a string of high profile lateral hires, it’s fantastic to be able to promote some of our most senior lawyers to meet client demand. It gives me great pleasure to welcome each of the candidates to the partnership and I would like to congratulate them on reaching this milestone in their career.”
