Safferys promotes 3 new tax partners
Saffery Champness has promoted 3 new tax parters:
Neil Davies joined the Bristol office in 2003 and became a Director in 2016. A qualified Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser, Neil advises growth businesses, including AIM listed entities, covering a wide range of sectors, from manufacturing, retail and engineering to construction, property and professional practices. He is a member of the firm’s Professional & Consultancy Services Group.
Peter Harker is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser. He joined Saffery Champness in 2004 and became a Director in 2016. He is a member of the firm’s Landed Estates Practice Group and is a regular speaker at industry events on issues such as renewable energy and tax planning for landed estates and property businesses. Peter manages a mixed portfolio of clients that includes wealthy individuals, landowners, owner-managed businesses, agri-businesses and not-for-profit entities.
Alison Hone is a VAT specialist who joined Saffery Champness in 2003, having previously worked as a visiting officer for HMRC. Alison is a Chartered Tax Adviser and a member of the firm’s Not-for-Profit Group. She advises a wide range of charities and not-for-profit organisations, including sports clubs, umbrella bodies, religious organisations, hospices and wildlife trusts. Alison is a regular speaker at industry events and is the author of numerous articles on charity VAT issues.
