Michael Barbosa Joins Andersen Tax as a Managing Director in Los Angeles
Andersen Tax has welcomed Michael Barbosa as a Managing Director in the Los Angeles office. Michael will join the Commercial Practice group specializing in International Tax and will be providing tax planning and compliance services to multinational corporations and other business organizations. Michael has over 18 years of experience in tax across a wide range of industries and has worked on all facets of international tax planning including cross-border tax planning for exploitation of intangible property, supply chain optimization, as well as structuring and restructuring multinational business organizations. “I’m thrilled to have Michael join Andersen Tax, as his wealth of expertise will help ensure that we continue to move in the right direction to create the highest value for our clients,” said Bill Amon, Office Managing Director in Los Angeles. “Southern California remains a key market for our firm’s strategic growth and Michael will be an asset to our clients and colleagues in a number of areas throughout the region and our firm.” Prior to Andersen Tax, Michael was a Managing Director at PwC, where he held a role in the leadership team of the Los Angeles International Tax Specialty Group. His work there included tax planning for cross-border transactions, managing U.S. federal income tax compliance and the international aspects of income tax provisions.
