BMR Tax teams move to Deloitte (corporate tax) and KPMG (M&A tax)

There has been much speculation in the Indian press over the past month regarding the boutique firm BMR. The bidding and negotiation with Big 4 firms has been concluded and the corporate tax team at BMR will join Deloitte, whilst the M&A tax team will join KPMG (as part of the Transactions and Risk Consulting Businesses).

Vivek Gupta (pictured right) will head up the Tax M&A team at KPMG. He currently leads the transaction tax and restructuring service at BMR and has acted on some of the largest transactions in corporate India over the last two decades.
