Laurie Goldbach joins Calgary tax group at BLG

Borden Ladner Gervais has announced that Laurie Goldbach has joined the Tax Group as a partner in the Firm’s Calgary office. She was previously a tax partner at Deloitte.

Ms. Goldbach’s practice focuses on tax litigation and tax dispute resolution. She has extensive trial and appellate advocacy experience and regularly appears before all levels of courts in Alberta, and has appeared before the Tax Court of Canada, the Federal Court of Canada and the Supreme Court of Canada. Prior to practising tax litigation, Ms. Goldbach practised commercial litigation with a focus on oil and gas and regulatory litigation.

BLG’s Tax Group is composed of over 60 professionals across Canada, including lawyers and Chartered Professional Accountants.
