Audrey Fearing joins RSM in London to lead the public sector VAT team

RSM has appointed Audrey Fearing as a new indirect tax partner in London.

Audrey joins RSM from EY where she led the government and public sector tax team. Prior to that she held roles at Deloitte following a period spent working for HMRC.

In her new role, Audrey will head up RSM’s public sector VAT team, advising NHS, local authority and social housing clients on all aspects of VAT. She will also support suppliers to public sector bodies so they can supply goods and services in a way that enables their customers to utilise all available tax reliefs.

Audrey is a chartered tax adviser and an expert in UK and EU VAT law. She was a founder member of the VAT Expert Group established by the European Commission to provide support in shaping future EU VAT legislation. She has also held the post of non-executive director with a specialist social housing provider.
