Pilar Barriguete joins Duff & Phelps’ TP practice in Madrid

Duff & Phelps has announced that Pilar Barriguete has joined the firm’s Transfer Pricing Services practice.

Pilar brings eleven years of transfer pricing leadership and will be based in the firm’s Madrid office. She has extensive experience advising clients across diverse industries and jurisdictions, including transfer pricing for financial services transactions. She most recently led the EMEA Transfer Pricing Center of Excellence at EY.

Ms. Barriguete’s extensive transfer pricing experience includes delivering large-scale documentation projects, planning engagements, restructuring and tax audit defense for clients headquartered in the UK, Spain and other countries in the EMEA region. Her recent focus has been on treasury transfer pricing, pricing of intercompany loans, cash pooling, guarantees and related financial transactions.

Ms. Barriguete obtained her master’s degree in Financial Markets and Alternative Investments issued by Bolsas y Mercados Españoles (BME), where she obtained the official license to trade derivatives in the Spanish market (MEFF). She also earned an Advanced Corporate Finance postgraduate course from the London School of Economics. She holds a dual degree in Law and Business Administration from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, and has been a member of the Spanish Bar Association since 2006.
