Sandy Bhogal, former head of Mayer Brown’s Tax group in London, joins Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher
Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP has announced that Sandy Bhogal will join the firm’s London office as a partner. He joins from Mayer Brown International.
Previously the head of Mayer Brown’s Tax group in London, Bhogal focuses on corporate tax, particularly tax matters related to UK tax, which can involve transaction mandates controversies with tax authorities and discrete tax consulting matters. He also provides transactional advice on matters involving M&A, corporate finance, banking, capital markets, asset finance and property. He has extensive experience in corporate tax planning and the development of domestic and cross-border tax-efficient structures.

Mr Bhogal is a member of the Law Society Tax Committee, serving as chair of the Law Society Sub-Committee of International Taxes, and a member of the Alternative Investment Association Tax Committee. He received LL.B. and LL.M. degrees in law in 1996 and 1998 from the University of Bristol.
