RSM Malta promotes Timothy Zammit to tax partner

RSM Malta has announced the appointment of Timothy Zammit as a partner with the firm. Dr Zammit will be responsible for the tax and corporate services unit.

Mr Zammit assists clients with minimising their tax leakage, assisting in restructuring to enhance efficiency or plan for their business succession while ensuring their full compliance with their tax and corporate obligations. Furthermore, Timothy also advises clients on matters including personal taxation, residency and citizenship. Prior to joining RSM Malta as a tax lawyer in 2010, Timothy had served as the head of corporate and tax services at mid-tier firms specialising is international structuring and cross border companies.

Timothy read law at the University of Malta having graduated as a doctor of laws in 2005 and called to the bar in 2006. Timothy subsequently read for a Master of Arts in Financial Services from the University of Malta. He is also a member of the Institute of Financial Services Practitioners and the Malta Institute of Taxation.
