KPMG US announces new tax hires
KPMG has recruited a number of senior tax professionals recently. Brief bios are shown below:
David Jarczyk joins KPMG as a principal in its Tax Innovation group and is based in Chicago. He joins from ktMINE where he served as president and CEO since its founding in 2008.
Katherine Avery joins KPMG as a principal in its Global Mobility Services group based in Silicon Valley. She joins from Cisco where she served as senior director of Human Resource Operations, Americas.
Daniel Paulos joins KPMG as a principal in New York Financial Services Asset Management group based in New York. He joins from Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP.
James Moore joins KPMG’s Economic and Valuation Services group as a managing director based in Tysons Corner, Virginia. He joins KPMG from IMPAQ International where he was a senior vice president.
Megan Fitzsimmons joins KPMG as a managing director in its Mergers & Acquisitions Tax practice, based in Tysons Corner, Virginia. Fitzsimmons joins KPMG from EY.
Anthony Capela joins KPMG’s Boston office as a partner in the Asset Management – Alternative Investments group. Most recently, he served as the chief financial officer/chief compliance officer of the hedge fund manager, ThornTree Capital Partners. Prior to that, he spent many years at EY.
Michael Pezzetti joins KPMG’s International Tax practice as a partner in its Detroit office. Before joining KPMG, he was the lead international tax partner at Deloitte Tax LLP.
