New tax hires at EY: Paul Chance & Jim Brennan

EY has contacted Tax Grotto with some recent Tax Principal/Partner hires:

Paul Chance joins Ernst & Young LLP as a partner focused on global tax compliance and reporting in the Florida market. Chance was a partner at KPMG where he worked since 1997, with a two year period in which he worked with a global manufacturing company. He received his Bachelor of Science from West Virginia University and is a licensed CPA.

Jim Brennan joins Ernst & Young LLP as an executive director with the firm’s Private Client Services practice. Prior to joining EY, Jim was previously a managing director with GenSpring Family Offices working with ultra high net-worth families and family businesses. He earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration from St. John’s University. Jim Brennan is based in Tampa, FL.
