Ron Jorgensen joins Thomson Geer’s national tax team

Thomson Geer’s national Tax team is expanding, with the appointment of experienced and respected tax lawyer, Ron Jorgensen, as a partner. Ron will be based in the Melbourne office, working alongside Tax partners Arthur Athanasiou, Jeff Chang and consultant Tony Pane.

Ron has more than 20 years of legal and tax experience, and specialises in tax dispute resolution and trusts. His main areas of focus are consulting on Commonwealth and State tax laws, tax dispute resolution, trusts and trust disputes, succession and asset protection, business and investment structuring and tax sensitive commercial and property transactions.

Ron is a Senior Fellow with the University of Melbourne lecturing in the University’s Masters program, and is a nationally respected technical writer and presenter. Ron is a member of The Tax Institute, and sits on the Institute’s Tax Technical Committee and State Taxes Committee in Victoria.
