Edward Troup, former HMRC chief, to advise McKinsey

Sir Edward Troup, formerly the Head of HMRC in the UK and a qualified tax lawyer by profession, is to advise McKinsey on a consultancy basis.

He is expected to provide advice on enforcement, compliance and strategy to overseas tax authorities. He is not allowed to advise EU tax administrations for the next 2 years because of his specific knowledge of Brexit-related issues.
