New senior tax hires at KPMG USA
KPMG in the US has announced a number of senior tax hires.
Brian Leegan joins KPMG as a managing director in its Business Tax Services Asset Management practice in Chicago. He rejoins from J.P. Morgan Private Equity where he served as executive director.
Diana Lathi joins KPMG as a principal in its International Tax practice group based in Silicon Valley. She joins from Intuitive Surgical where she served as vice president of Global Tax & Trade.
Michael Hoyt joins KPMG as a managing director principal in its Economic and Valuation Services group based in Houston. He joins from EY where he was a senior manager for the Transaction Advisory Services, Business Valuation and Modeling practice.
Peter Sabini joins KPMG’s State and Local Tax (SALT) practice as a partner based in New York. He rejoins KPMG from Time Warner Inc., where he was an executive director.
Libby Goodwin joins KPMG as a partner in its New York Financial Services Tax Asset Management practice. Goodwin joins KPMG from Ares Management, LLC, where she served as a principal and tax director in their Direct Lending group.
Christine Cagnina joins KPMG’s Charlotte office as a principal in the State & Local Tax practice. Most recently, she served as a tax counsel in the Tax Transactions Group at Mayer Brown LLP. Prior to that, she was a senior tax consultant at another Big Four firm.
Nathan Thompson joins KPMG’s Global Mobility Service practice as a managing director in its Atlanta office. Before joining KPMG, he’s held a number of leadership roles at Accenture, most recently leading their People Mobility capability.
