Jill Weise named Global Head of Duff & Phelps’ Transfer Pricing Practice

Duff & Phelps has announced that Jill Weise will become the Global Leader of the Transfer Pricing practice. Weise previously served as the firm’s Transfer Pricing practice leader for North America. She succeeds Michael Heimert in the role, who retired at the end of 2018.
 
Weise brings nearly 25 years of transfer pricing experience to her global responsibilities and is a Certified Business Economist.

Throughout her career, Weise has worked with global clients to address an array of transfer pricing issues – including planning analyses, global studies, advance pricing agreements, controversy, litigation (including expert witness testimony), state transfer pricing, cost sharing, intangible asset migration, tax reserve calculations and documentation for penalty protection. She brings extensive industry experience in areas such as high-tech, computer software, biotechnology, medical instrumentation, pharmaceuticals, industrial products, chemicals, food and beverage, retail and automotive.

Prior to joining Duff & Phelps, Weise was the leader of Ceteris’ Boston practice, which was acquired by Duff & Phelps in 2012.
 
She is a former Board Member for the National Association of Business Economists and currently the Co-Chair of the organization’s transfer pricing roundtable. She serves on the International Fiscal Association’s New England Chapter Advisory Council and is a Board Member and North American Regional Co-Chair of the Duff & Phelps Charitable Foundation.
