3 European Tax Lawyers promoted at Eversheds Sutherland
Eversheds Sutherland has announced that it has made 27 partner promotions across 14 countries in its International and Europe network. A third of these promotions are female which is in line with its goal to achieve 30% female representation at partner level by 2021.
It has also promoted 17 lawyers to legal director (11 women and six men), based in the UK, Spain and Austria.
The tax lawyers promoted are:
Colin Askew, Tax (Leeds)
Colin undertakes a broad range of tax work specialising primarily in corporate and real estate related taxes acting for both public and private sector clients. His corporate tax experience includes advising on the tax aspects of mergers, acquisitions and reorganisations and on the tax aspects of general commercial activities.
Amanda Dodsworth, Tax (Leeds)
Amanda has a wealth of experience in implementing and advising on all types of share schemes, including LTIPs, CSOPs, EMI Schemes, SAYE Schemes and SIPs, as well as bespoke arrangements. Her clients range from private and listed companies to global corporations. She has particular expertise in advising on employee share incentives in takeover/MBO situations and assisting companies with the roll out and operation of share incentive arrangements on a global basis.
Fernando López, Tax (Madrid)
Fernando has broad experience in tax and corporate planning, advising high net worth individuals as well as international and local companies. His work involves the creation and coordination of tax due diligences, the study and implementation of reorganization procedures of companies and business (merger and acquisition) and its tax implications; general tax and corporate advising; real estate taxation; tax, administrative and contentious-administrative procedures.
