KPMG UK announces 5 new partners (3 promotions, 2 external hires)
KPMG has announced three partner promotions and two new partners in its tax, pensions and legal services practice.
The three partner promotions are as follows:
Mythrayi Manickarajah
Financial Services, Deals Advisory Tax – Infrastructure
Mythrayi advises global financial investors on the tax considerations relating to Infrastructure and Renewables transactions in the UK and Europe. Working in the Infrastructure Deals Advisory Tax business, her core team is based in London.
Daniel Smith
Financial Services, Indirect Tax
Dan leads the real estate VAT team advising clients on all aspects of property development, investment and occupation. Dan and his team are based in London.
Jo Brien
National Markets
Jo advises private capital and listed businesses on all aspects of executive pay including employee share plans and corporate governance. Working in the Tax business in the North and Midlands, Jo’s team is based across the Leeds, Manchester and Birmingham offices.
In addition to the above promotions, two new partners join the firm:
David Hewitt
Corporates, M&A Tax
David has joined KPMG from Grant Thornton where he was a partner and Head of M&A Tax for seven years. His role at KPMG will be to further develop the large corporate M&A tax business.
Peter Workman
National Markets, Legal Services
Peter has joined KPMG from PwC where he led the firm’s Midlands corporate legal practice and flexible lawyer offering. At KPMG Peter will lead a team of nine business structuring and transactions lawyers in the Midlands Legal Services Hub.
