Rezan Ökten joins Houthoff as Transfer Pricing Counsel

Houthoff has announced that as of May 2019, Rezan Ökten joined the firm as Transfer Pricing counsel. Rezan has in-depth transfer pricing knowledge and experience in the technology and telecommunications industry.

Prior to Houthoff, he worked as an in-house transfer pricing specialist at Veon and Liberty Global. He also worked as an adviser at Deloitte and KPMG, dealing with a wide variety of transfer pricing projects for large multinationals as well as small and medium-sized enterprises in various industries.

Rezan is a lecturer at the University of Amsterdam where he teaches Transfer Pricing at the Advanced LL.M. programme in International Tax Law. He has also written a number of articles, with a focus on the transfer pricing aspects of intangibles and cost contribution arrangements. He is co-author and author of two transfer pricing books.

Houthoff’s Tax practice was ranked as Tier 1 by Legal 500 in April 2019.
