New tax partners at PwC Canada
PwC Canada has announced its 2019 partner promotions – there are 65 new partners in total.
Listed below are the specialist tax partners. General practice partners are not included.
Andrew Armstrong, Waterloo
Andrew provides technical tax expertise to both publicly traded corporations and private companies, with a significant amount of involvement in tax planning for shareholders and high net worth individuals. This involves everything from advising clients on the implementation of family trusts and corporate structuring, to annual remuneration planning to ensure funds are distributed in a tax efficient manner.
He works closely with early stage start-up companies, helping them understand and implement a solid financial framework for quick growth and expansion.
Jeff Beech, Calgary
Jeff is based in the Global Mobility Services (GMS) group in the Calgary tax practice. He works closely with my clients to manage tax matters associated with international assignments and business travel in Canada, the United States, and around the world. He has significant experience assisting companies in a variety of industries, from large multinational corporations to small organizations and individuals with US and Canadian tax return preparation, tax equalization calculations, payroll and social security compliance, cross border tax planning, and expatriate policy development.

Melanie Campbell, North Vancouver
Melanie provides multi-disciplinary tax services for Canadian and International organizations with a focus on the Technology, Media and Retail Industries since 2007. She has extensive experience in managing multinational engagements, including coordinating multi-jurisdictional corporate income tax compliance, advising on Tax Accounting and Financial Statement Disclosure and optimizing the tax function, including tax incentives, business expansion planning, equity compensation, mergers and acquisitions, general corporate structuring and repatriation.
