Jeroen van Mourik returns from Asia to join Houthoff’s tax team
Jeroen van Mourik has joined the Dutch independent law firm Houthoff as a partner in the firm’s Tax Team. He has more than 15 years of experience advising multinational clients (mainly Asian and US) on the Dutch corporate and international tax aspects of cross-border investments, reorganisations and mergers and acquisitions.
For the past three years, Jeroen has been working for EY in Hong Kong, where he was the Dutch & Europe Tax Desk Leader for Asia.

Prior to his partnership at EY, Jeroen worked at Loyens & Loeff and enjoyed secondments to top firms in Chicago, London, Tokyo and Sydney.
In the first half of this year, Rezan Ökten (Counsel, Transfer Pricing), Koen Bolink (Senior Associate, Tax Lawyer) and Brendan Moloney (Associate, Tax Lawyer) also joined the Houthoff Tax Team.
Jeroen specialises in the application of tax treaties and BEPS. He is experienced in negotiating Advance Tax Rulings with the Dutch tax authorities. He advises private equity clients and financial institutions, as well as clients in the automotive, TMT and consumer products industries.
