Irfan Butt moves from PwC to RSM
RSM has strengthened its real estate and construction team with the appointment of Irfan Butt as a tax partner.
Irfan joins RSM from PwC where he provided tax advice to real estate funds and infrastructure & distressed debt funds. During this time, he was also involved in a large number of UK and pan-European M&A transactions involving leading funds and institutional investors.
Irfan is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and a member of the Chartered Institute of Tax. He holds an Islamic finance qualification and has represented PwC on the HMT/HMRC Islamic finance working group to advise on the changes to the Alternative Finance Arrangements legislation.
