Mazars Ireland appoints 2 new tax partners

Mazars Ireland has announced the appointment of two new partners due to ongoing business growth across the firm.

Ken Killoran has been appointed as a Tax Partner leading the Employment Tax and Global Mobility Services area, and Padraig Daly has been appointed Corporate Tax Partner.

KEN KILLORAN

Ken is an AITI Chartered Tax Adviser.  He joined Mazars in 2008. Before that, he worked in PwC and ITC Consulting. Since joining the firm, Ken has been the key driver in the development and growth of the Employment Tax and Global Mobility Services area in Mazars. Ken works with both international and Irish-based companies, including public sector organisations, providing advice on employment taxes, internationally mobile employee issues, social security, share-based remuneration, providing PAYE/PRSI reviews and dealing with Revenue audits. Also, Ken regularly gives external presentations in relation to these areas.

PADRAIG DALY

Padraig is a Chartered Tax Adviser and qualified accountant (AITI Chartered Tax Advisor and FCCA), and before joining Mazars, he worked in senior positions with Crowe and Deloitte.
Padraig leads Mazars’ Property and Construction Tax team. In recent years, he has advised on the tax-efficient structuring of significant residential and commercial developments, international construction projects and infrastructure projects.  Padraig is supported by a multi-disciplinary tax team comprised of experienced professionals who are recognised specialists in the key taxes for the construction industry.
Padraig also has extensive M&A experience having advised on the sale, purchase and investment in Irish businesses to a total value of more than €1 billion during 2018 – 2019, encompassing more than 20 separate transactions across multiple industries including the construction, healthcare, food, ICT and retail sectors.
Over the past 14 years, he has written and lectured extensively for several professional bodies on taxation matters, including the Irish Taxation Institute and the ACCA.
