Chu Man promoted to Head of Tax & Treasury

Chu Man has been promoted to Head of Tax & Treasury at SmartestEnergy

Mr Man joined the company in November 2018 as Head of Tax and his larger role took effect from January 2020.

Before joining SmartestEnergy he had a 14 year tax career at BP and then spent a further 4 years at Gazprom Marketing & Trading, where he was Head of Tax Compliance Reporting and Operations.

His earlier career was with HMRC where he progressed to VAT Inspector. He moved from HMRC to Arthur Andersen where he was a VAT Manager before deciding to move in-house.
