Gareth Harrison appointed Head of Tax at Airtel Africa

Tax Grotto is a little late in reporting this news, but Gareth Harrison has been appointed Head of Tax at Airtel Africa plc.

This promotion took place in the summer of 2019 when the company demerged from Bharti Airtel Ltd and listed on the London Stock Exchange. He reports to the CFO, Jaideep Paul.

Gareth has extensive international tax experience gained in the UK, Middle East and Africa, both in-house and with Big 4 firms.
