Gökçe Sarısu Kanmaz to establish new Tax practice at Balcıoğlu Selcuk Ardiyok Keki

Dr. Gökçe Sarısu Kanmaz has joined Balcıoğlu Selçuk Ardıyok Keki Attorney Partnership (BASEAK) as a partner, to establish and lead a full-service Tax practice within the Firm.  BASEAK is the Istanbul-based law firm that cooperates with global law firm Dentons in Turkey.

In her new role, she will be responsible for representing clients in tax litigation, disputes and audits.  She will also advise on the tax aspects of restructuring and M&A deals and provide consulting on general tax matters.

Previously an associate partner in EY’s Tax division, Dr. Sarısu has more than 15 years’ experience advising on tax disputes, tax risk management, tax audits, and tax planning and structuring. She advises both international and domestic companies, primarily in the technology, healthcare, real estate and fast moving consumer goods sectors.
