Thiago Cruz Cavalcanti recruited as Global Head of tax at Grupo Tigre

Grupo Tigre, headquartered in Brazil, has hired Thiago Cruz Cavalcanti to be its new Global Head of Tax.

Mr Cavalcanti has over 21 years’ tax experience, initially with PwC but since 2008 he has been working in-house. From 2014 to 2018 he was with AbbVie as LATAM Tax Director where he was responsible for taxes in over 12 jurisdictions. Since 2018 he has worked at Amazon and his most recent role was as Regional Head of Tax Operations in LATAM.

Tigre Group is Brazil’s national leader in plastic materials manufacturing for construction sites and operates in 40 countries.
