Tax boutique Forbes Dawson announces 3 new partners

Michael Dawson, Managing Partner at Forbes Dawson, has announced the appointment of three new partners at the firm. Michelle Hogan, Rebecca Bedford and Tom Minnikin have all been with the business since its inception in 2012.

Tom Minnikin is a Chartered Tax Adviser specialising in tax issues facing owner managed businesses and entrepreneurs. He can advise on all types of issues regarding business and share ownership structures, corporate reorganisation and exit planning. Tom is also our in-house capital allowances expert, and has built up a number of links with local surveying firms to maximise claims.

Rebecca Bedford is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser. Her main area of work private client focussed including dealing with the affairs of entrepreneurs, partnerships, trusts, and Estates. Rebecca works alongside Laura Hutchinson on complex offshore tax planning involving offshore trusts and non UK domiciliaries.

Michelle Hogan is a corporate tax specialist with a strong commercial background. Michelle left PwC to become group tax manager for Guardian Media Group plc where she established a tax department during a period of significant M&A activity and investment. She returned to practice after nine years, bringing with her a broad range of experience in all aspects of large UK groups.
