Robert Brown joins Milsted Langdon as tax partner
A tax specialist with over 30 years’ experience has joined Milsted Langdon’s Tax team in Bristol as a Partner.
Robert Brown joins the award-winning regional firm from a role in industry, where he was Group CFO for the last five years.
Prior to that, Robert spent most of his career in large firms in Bristol, including BDO, RSM and PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he advised both businesses and individuals on compliance tax matters and mitigating tax liabilities through careful planning.
Robert’s areas of expertise include private client work, such as Inheritance Tax and Capital Gains Tax planning and corporate tax matters, such as R&D tax credits, Patent Box, property matters, transactions including succession planning for owner-managed businesses and private companies. He also assists with compliance and tax planning for professional partnerships.
Commenting on his appointment, Robert said: “Milsted Langdon has a strong reputation for the quality of its work and I’m looking forward to bringing my experience to the tax team, as well as the wider teams that I’ll be working alongside.
