Tax specialist Sharon Bedford appointed as new Chair at James Cowper Kreston

James Cowper Kreston has announced that Sharon Bedford will be taking over as the firms’ new Chair with immediate effect. Sharon takes on the role from Nick Rogers who is stepping down having come to the end the of his four year term.

Commenting on the appointment, Alex Peal and Sue Staunton, James Cowper Kreston’s Managing Partners said “We’d like to thank Nick for his significant contribution to the role of Chair over the length of his term, acting not only as a figurehead within the market but also in providing counsel for those within the firm and chairing our partners meetings. Nick will continue in his role as a partner and Head of Transactions for the firm.”

“Sharon will be well known to many of our clients and contacts having been with the firm for 18 years, leading our Business Tax Services team for much of that period. Having been with the firm for such a length of time she understands our culture and in her new role will continue to be a great ambassador for the firm across our regions.”
