Paul Attridge joins Azets as Regional Tax Partner for the North Thames and South Midlands offices
Azets has appointed another senior partner in the South East. Paul Attridge joins as Regional Tax Partner for the North Thames and South Midlands offices and will be based in Azets’ Hertford office.
After a short career in teaching, Paul trained as a tax advisor in a small firm in South Hertfordshire where he attained his professional qualifications. He has gained great experience in both corporate and personal tax, advising small and medium owner managed businesses as well as some larger corporates. He joins Azets from accountancy firm Bright Grahame Murray.
Prior to that, Paul was a Partner at Beavis Morgan where he led the corporate tax team, as well as having responsibility for all tax advisory work across both Personal Tax and Corporate Tax, helping individuals, companies and groups. He also worked with Moore Stephens and is both a Chartered Tax Adviser and a Trust and Estate Practitioner.
Paul said: “I am delighted to be able to bring my deep experience as a tax adviser to SMEs and HNWIs including non-domiciles, company directors and other business owners in all areas of taxation to Azets’ existing clients, as well as helping develop the client base. I look forward to assisting businesses and individuals to plan their tax affairs in the most efficient and commercial manner, especially when it comes R&D.”
He added:
“I enjoy helping clients on the use of tax efficient strategies and relevant reliefs to reduce exposure to corporation tax, aid investment and provided tax efficient exit strategies. I know at Azets I will have an opportunity to progress and develop into new areas, and have already been made to feel very welcome. “
