Melea Cruz appointed Head of Tax and Legal at BDO Thailand

Melea Cruz has been appointed as BDO Thailands’s Head of Tax and Legal services.

Melea, a qualified legal practitioner and tax expert, has over 25 years’ experience in Thailand, the Philippines and Myanmar in key leadership positions. Principally she has been delivering tax advisory and legal services to large multinational corporates across various industries.

Melea’s appointment brings together a tax leadership group consisting of Melea, Ishan Shah and Khun Pakamon Charubhakti.

Under the new structure Melea will take the lead role in international tax and business structuring and re-structuring and lead the team that handles corporate legal matters allowing Ishan to focus on transfer pricing and supply chain matters with Khun Pakamon looking after all matters relating to transaction tax and tax compliance.
