Alvarez & Marsal launches tax practice in Spain

Alvarez & Marsal Tax has launched its tax practice in Spain.

Angel Calleja leads the new A&M Tax Spain practice. He brings more than 35 years of experience in complex M&A deals and restructuring transactions, having served as lead tax adviser for some of the largest Spanish and foreign multinationals. Mr Calleja joins from White & Case, where he served as Head of Tax in Madrid.

With more than 30 years of experience as a tax adviser, Borja Escrivá de Romaní joins as the Global Transaction Tax (GTT) lead in Spain. Specialising in domestic and cross-border M&A transactions and corporate and financial restructuring for multinationals, he was most recently a partner at Deloitte, where he spent almost three decades.
