Grant Thornton UK hires Gil Oglesby and Duncan Nott
Grant Thornton UK has hired Gil Oglesby to lead on its tax function transformation proposition, supporting clients to ensure that their tax technology, data, processes and people are deployed in the most efficient and effective way. He was previously Head of Direct Tax & Transformation at ASOS Plc with responsibility for all direct tax compliance and reporting obligations for the Group, as well as leading and delivering on all aspects of tax technology and transformation for the tax function.
Additionally, Duncan Nott joins Grant Thornton UK as a Transfer Pricing Partner. Duncan has over twenty-five years of specialist transfer pricing experience, having worked at both market leading international and mid-market firms. He has worked with a wide range of clients across different industries, as well as supporting government bodies on transfer pricing issues. Duncan joins the firm’s Transfer Pricing Team as part of its ambitious growth plans, and he will be helping the firm’s clients both to find practical solutions to their transfer pricing issues and also set themselves up for a greater focus on the operation and governance of transfer pricing policy.
Duncan is also working as part of Grant Thornton’s network of Pillar Two specialists to help clients find effective ways to address the introduction of the new Global Minimum Tax intended for large multinationals under the OECD’s Pillar Two.
