Lucy Sauvage launches Tax Risk and Disputes Management service line at A&M Tax
Alvarez & Marsal Tax (A&M Tax) has announced that Lucy Sauvage has been recruited as a Senior Director in Manchester. This strategic hire marks the launch of A&M’s Tax Risk and Disputes Management line, a significant development in further elevating the UK Tax practice’s capabilities.
The newly launched line complements A&M Tax’s broad suite of services, with the appointment of Sauvage made amidst growing client demand for proactive tax risk management advice alongside expert tax dispute resolution services.
Sauvage brings more than 20 years’ experience in tax risk management and dispute resolution. She spent 17 years at BDO LLP, where she was most recently a Tax Partner, advising a broad range of clients on their tax governance strategies and in resolving complex HMRC enquiries, disclosures and investigations. She will lead and build A&M’s Tax Risk and Disputes Management service line, supporting clients to proactively identify, assess and manage their tax risks with the aim of mitigating exposure to HMRC challenges and unexpected tax obligations.
Marvin Rust, Managing Director and EMEA Tax Lead, commented: “The tax landscape is evolving rapidly, and clients need advisers who can provide timely insights and practical solutions. Launching our dedicated Tax Risk and Disputes Management offering is a pivotal moment for A&M Tax in the UK.”
Ernesto “Ernie” Perez, Managing Director and Global Practice Leader of A&M Tax, said: “At A&M, we consistently invest in the highest-calibre talent to drive forward our ambitious growth plans and address market demand. Lucy’s deep expertise in tax governance and resolving complex disputes with HMRC upholds that commitment.”
